working principle：
The impeller of the liquid ring vacuum pump is eccentric from the center of the pump casing. By continuously introducing working fluid into the pump cavity, a continuous liquid ring is formed when the impeller rotates. On the intake side, the air chamber formed by the adjacent blades and the liquid ring gradually becomes larger to produce suction gas; on the exhaust side, the air chamber formed by the adjacent blades and the liquid ring gradually becomes smaller to produce compressed exhaust gas. The combination of multiple sets of blades and liquid rings forms multiple sets of reciprocating attraction and compression, thus realizing the vacuuming process. The working fluid simultaneously performs the functions of sealing, compression and cooling in this process.
Under normal circumstances, we choose water as the working fluid of the liquid ring vacuum pump, which is called "water ring vacuum pump", which can obtain an ultimate pressure of 33mbar. According to the different working conditions of users, the working fluid can choose three operation modes: direct discharge, partial circulation and closed circulation. The standard product is in-line mode, and partial circulation mode can be selected. The closed loop mode requires engineering design.
Water ring vacuum pump is the most widely used vacuum pump, mainly used to obtain rough vacuum. Its suction side is usually negative pressure, while the exhaust side can be normal pressure or slightly positive pressure. If used as the fore-vacuum pump of atmospheric ejector and Roots pump, higher vacuum and higher pumping speed can be obtained, and the application range is more extensive.
The working principle of the water ring compressor is similar to that of the vacuum pump, but the suction side can be negative pressure, normal pressure or positive pressure, and the discharge side can be positive pressure. It is often used for special gas compression.
The characteristics of isothermal compression and large impeller clearance make the water ring vacuum pump/compressor suitable for suction/compression of flammable, explosive, liquid and dust-entrained gas.
